Journal of Human Sciences – University of Ha’il is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the University of Ha’il and operating within the framework of the University’s scientific journals system. The journal derives its vision, mission, and objectives from the strategic directions of the University of Ha’il, in alignment with the goals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in supporting scientific research and enhancing knowledge production and dissemination in accordance with international standards.

The journal is published on a quarterly basis and is concerned with publishing original and innovative scholarly research in the fields of the humanities and social sciences, in both Arabic and English. It is firmly committed to the ethics of scientific research, standards of academic integrity, and internationally recognized research methodologies. The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, ensuring neutrality, objectivity, and the quality of published research outputs.

The Editorial Board is appointed by an official decision of the University Council and comprises a distinguished group of specialized academics with expertise in research and peer review. The newly formed Editorial Board commenced its duties in November 2025, within a developmental vision aimed at enhancing publication quality, advancing the journal’s standing, and expanding its presence in regional and international databases and rankings.

The Journal of Human Sciences – University of Ha’il aims to serve as a leading knowledge platform that contributes to enriching scientific research in the humanities and social sciences, supports rigorous academic dialogue, and provides a reliable scholarly outlet for publishing the research output of scholars from various universities and research institutions at the local, regional, and international levels. The journal also seeks to engage highly qualified specialized reviewers, ensuring the quality of published research and its compliance with indexing standards adopted by international databases such as Scopus, as well as Arab classification standards such as ARCIF.
